Is my baby's photo or name uploaded anywhere?
No. The whole editor runs in your browser. The photo you choose, your baby's name, and every detail you type stay on your device — nothing is uploaded, stored, or tracked, and the finished JPEG is created right there on your phone or computer.
Can I make a birth announcement without a photo?
Yes, and it is one of the prettiest ways to do it. Leave the photo out and you get a words-only card on warm paper with a fine keyline border: the name large in a serif, the birth date underneath, and the small details in a quiet letter-spaced row. Plenty of families send this one and save the photo for later.
Can I print the announcement?
Yes. The 4 × 6 print preset makes a 1200 × 1800 pixel file — a true 4 × 6 inch print at 300 PPI that any print service or drugstore kiosk can use directly. The square is 2160 × 2160 pixels, big enough for a crisp 7 × 7 inch print, and the post size is 1080 × 1350 pixels for screens.
Do I have to fill in the weight and the time?
No. Every line is optional except the name, and the card rebalances itself around whatever you leave out. Weight, length, and time are plain text boxes rather than unit pickers, so you can write 7 lb 4 oz or 3.29 kg, 51 cm or 20 inches, and 4:12 in the morning — however your family says it.
What about HEIC photos from an iPhone?
Most browsers open them, but not all of them do. If your photo will not open, save a JPG copy from your phone's photo app and choose that instead. Photos up to about 35 MB work smoothly.
